John Titor said he was a time traveler who came from 2034 to get an IBM computer in the 1970s because in 2036 there is some sort of glitch in Unix code similar to the year 2000 glitches. After he got the computer he came to the 2000 time frame and started posting his story and adventures on a few message boards. He also provided a few pictures of the time displacement unit and its manual. He is now gone. Check out the site and the pictures for yourselves and form your own opinion. Personally I won't say it's false or true, but I'm leaning toward that it could be true. Why not? If the government experimented with time travel in the 40s with the Philadelphia Experiment and it was pretty successful, just imagine what could be done in 2034.
